No animal deserves to suffer and the horses we seek are truly suffering, either physically or emotionally. Whether they’re with us for only a few days or several years, every animal deserves to be treated with dignity and respect and they deserve a humane end when it is time to say goodbye. Many horses we rescue are able to be rehabilitated and are then placed up for adoption. We give these horses a second chance at a great life by adopting them out to terrific new forever homes.

​​We are starting a new phase here at Day Dreams Farm called Equine Assisted Therapy and Learning. Horses have proven to be valuable healers. Equine Assisted Therapy and Learning is an approach that uses horses, especially abused and neglected horses, to teach adults AND children about themselves. Horses can teach people to heal their pasts, re-imagine their futures, and connect to their life purpose. Our ultimate goal is to specialize in helping victims of PTSD and their families or people suffering from autism and other developmental disabilities, although we would absolutely help anyone who needed us.
