Day Dreams Farm is a small group of people who came together out of a deep love for horses and people in need. We help abused and neglected horses, educate the public about responsible horse ownership, and build meaningful connections between people and the animals they care for.

Rescue, rehabilitation

We rescue equines, including horses, mules and donkeys, that have suffered abuse or neglect or are in imminent danger of ending up in the kill pen or being slaughtered.
We rehabilitate their bodies and minds, then adopt them to new homes where they get a second chance at a great life.

We help people by assisting and educating horse owners and potential horse owners about the responsibility of horse ownership, breeding and the problem of horse overpopulation in the United States.
Equine-assisted learning
Connection can be part of the healing.
We are dedicated to empowering the lives of children and adults from all walks of life, whether they are disadvantaged emotionally or physically, or simply want to learn to be better and more compassionate human beings through the touch and interaction of an animal.
People can find enrichment, satisfaction and purpose while helping care for unwanted, abused and neglected horses.

“I've been asked what my goals are for our rescue. Our goals are much like everyone else's: rescue horses, educate people and stop horse abuse and neglect.
But my dream is that our rescue shuts down completely because nobody needs us anymore, that we can no longer find horses to rescue from people who abuse or neglect them.
My dream is that every animal is safe from neglect and abuse, and we are no longer needed. It will probably never happen in my lifetime, but maybe, just maybe, with all of us together we have planted the seeds that will someday lead to an enlightened society where abuse and neglect of all animals and people are things of the past.
It's a big dream, I know, but it is my dream.”
