a look back at joey & napoleon

Hi everyone!
Today, we're featuring our rescues Joey (horse) and Napoleon (mini). Looking back to when we first rescued these two, they are definitely 200% happier and healthier.

Their past was filled with excruciating neglect. Joey was covered with rain rot, scabs, multiple patches of missing hair, and he was starved. Napoleon had over grown feet in which his tiny legs compensated for, creating a twist in his legs. Both were kept in a tiny mud pen.

Nowadays, they frolic our open pastures with six other friendly horses! Both have big personalities since coming to Day Dreams Farm. Napoleon likes to think he's much bigger than he really is, and Joey is one of the first to come up to you and demand attention! These equines are loved on and cared for every day by our amazing DDF team like they deserve! This is what we strive to do for these beautiful animals and promise them a life without any more neglect and abuse. It's our dream to no longer be needed anymore, when abuse and neglect is non existent everywhere.
