Our Policy and Criteria for the Horses We Help
Our policy is to only accept horses and other equines that are in extremely neglectful or abusive situations. When we go to a kill auction, we specifically target horses that appear broken, either physically or emotionally. We look for horses that are so "down" that they may not even make it to the slaughterhouse alive.
