Major came to us from a well meaning man who basically raised him like a big dog. He knew nothing of how to interact with other horses and had a very difficult time fitting in with the herd - having no idea how to act like a horse. Fortunately, he has come a long way in a very short period of time. Everyone falls in love with him the moment they meet him. He has a fantastic puppy like personality and with more training, we believe he will be a terrific trail and husband horse. He walks and trots on his own with a rider and has been great so far on trails. He is also green broke to drive and has pulled a person on a sled. We will continue his training until he is adopted. Major needs an experienced owner who is versed in natural horsemanship and positive reinforcement.
