Thanks to several generous donations, we will be able to move the rescued horses in rehab to an indoor for at least the next 2 months. They will receive the training they need to be adopted to new homes. Plus we can move our therapy horse so I can teach some lessons to help pay for expenses at the farm. We still need to build that turnout shed and bring in MANY loads of fill dirt. We plan to move either Sunday or Monday. Thank you everybody! We are covered in mud, water and soon ice which makes it downright dangerous for our horses to remain here.

We rescued Justice from the loose auction in Shipshewana July 15, 2011. He was a 7 year old stallion with a laceration on the back of his pastern that went right to the bone. After several months of healing, we will be taking him to Maria's, a DDF Team Member in Grand Rapids, to be trained for 60 days before being adopted by Katie Counoyer and her family!
