We are planning a large scale rescue from the infamous Sugar Creek Auction in Ohio. We need to secure approximately $8000.00 in funds to make this rescue happen. We realize that sounds like a LOT of money, but we have many things to get into place before this rescue can happen. We need to build a turnout shelter in our quarantine pasture big enough to house four horses, our trailer needs to be repaired or replaced. We ONLY take the sickest, weakest and most injured animals because we belive they have been through enough and at least deserve a peaceful end if that's what has to be done. Immediate medical care will likely cost $1,500.00 plus the longer term care for medication, weight building supplements, dental and hoof care.
This is not a small task but we are up to the challenge. Therefore, we will be doing everything we can to raise the money including auctioning everything but the kitchen sink through Ebay's Giving Works program. EVERY dime raised will go toward making this rescue happen. Donated items are WELCOME and of course are tax deductible as allowed by Michigan Law.
