Our featured friend today is our official Day Dreams Farm matriarch: Van Lorana, mostly known as Missy!

Missy has been with Day Dreams Farm for over 15 years and was THE FIRST rescue horse we ever took in with SEVERE psychological and fear problems. She was broken in fear and would try to fight or flee from anyone who got near her. Missy was a successful show horse that was abused and abandoned in a field by herself, nearly starving to death. No horse should ever have to experience that. Thankfully, she's a completely different horse who has been shown nothing but love.

Missy is one of our most valued team members at Day Dreams Farm. Today, she has served as a companion for many of our rescues, making kids smile brightly at events, and helping us educate people about horses. Her story is powerful and we hope to share more powerful stories with you all along our journey of rescuing neglected horses. Thank you for supporting Day Dreams Farm!
