While we are primarily a horse rescue, we do occasionally have other animals available for adoption. All of our adoptable animals have been properly evaluated for temperament and riding ability. They have been thoroughly examined by our veterinarian and have been vaccinated. If needed, their teeth have been floated and they have had proper hoof care. We follow a strict adoption process that begins with filling out an adoption application. After we receive the adoption application, it is reviewed by our board and references are checked, an appointment is set up to come and meet the prospective adopted animal. We will check references. Once that process is complete, we will trailer the animal to the new home.
Our #1 priority is to place our rescued animals in the perfect forever homes.
Available animals are listed below. If you are interested in adopting one of our rescued animals, Please remember we like to match our animals with the best possible forever home, so make sure you read about each animal thoroughly to qualify yourself as a compatible adopter!
We are always bringing home new rescues so if you do not see a horse that's right for you, please be sure to check back often and "like us" on Facebook for the most up to date news.

Cricket
Bay Standardbred Mare (grade) Estimated to be in early 20’s 15.1 hands Cricket was a “homebred Amish” horse until a few years ago. She was purchased by a family as a trail horse. Unfortunately, they recently fell into financial hardship and we agreed to take Cricket in. Cricket is a typical well broke Amish Horse. She is very gentle, is beginner kid safe on the ground and has been on trails with beginner riders. She is the perfect backyard family pet with no bad habits whatsoever. The person in the photographs has never ridden a horse. She is current on vaccines, dental, hoof care and has a current coggins. Being in her 20’s, she has typical arthritis of a horse her age. We do keep her on joint supplement and will be happy to provide a new bottle when she finds her forever family. She needs to spend the rest of her days with a family that loves her who wants to just play in the yard and take an occasional trail ride. All adoptions are via adoption applications. You must be 18 or older and submit a request via email at info@daydreamsfarm.com. Once your adoption application is submitted, it will be reviewed by our team. If it is determined it may be a good fit, we will contact you for an appointment for a meet and greet. We do require a signed adoption contract and we will transport the horse to the new adoptive new home. We do not allow pick up of any animals. Please direct all questions to our email at info@daydreamsfarm.com. Thank you. Adoption Fee: $200 Lacey
